Firefighters were working from the ground and air to contain the flames, as the blaze entered its second day on Wednesday.Another wildfire that broke out in the Ayvacik district of Canakkale province forced four villages to temporarily evacuate on Tuesday, while damaging some homes and killing livestock in the area. The fire was contained on Wednesday, after crews battled the flames through the night.Greece and other Mediterranean countries are in an area dubbed "a wildfire hotspot" by scientists - with blazes common during hot and dry summers. These have become more destructive in recent years due to a fast-changing climate.Hundreds of wildfires have broken out across Turkey this summer, forcing tens of thousands of people to temporarily evacuate their homes across the country.
