Sensex Today: Indian benchmark indices—Sensex and Nifty—are likely to open lower on Thursday

Stock market today: Nifty50 and BSE Sensex, the Indian equity benchmark indices, opened in red on Thursday following global cues. While Nifty50 was near 24,800, BSE Sensex was below 81,450.

The decisions were taken during the SEBI's board meeting led by its Chairperson Tuhin Kanta Pandey.

Construction is expected to start in 2026, following the completion of all necessary approvals.
