U'khand CM increases ex-gratia for Param Vir Chakra awardees by Rs 1 crore

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has increased the ex-gratia amount for Param Vir Chakra awardees. The amount has been increased from Rs 50 lakh to Rs 1.50 crore. This announcement was made on the eve of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Awardees will also continue to receive Rs 3 lakh as an annual grant.
