IIT-Kharagpur student found dead in hostel; 4th in 7 months

A fourth-year IIT-Kharagpur student, Ritam Mondal, was discovered dead in his hostel room. He had just returned from a summer break. Police suspect suicide and are investigating a possible family issue. The institute has formed a panel to investigate. This marks the fourth unnatural death at IIT-Kharagpur in recent months.
