The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has launched a major crackdown on illegal immigration rackets across Punjab and Haryana, conducting searches at 11 locations in seven cities. The raids targeted agents, including BKU leader Sukhwinder Singh, suspected of exploiting the 'donkey route' to the US.
He also asked the Civil Supplies Vigilance and Enforcement officials to intensify field inspections and directed the authorities to consider additional checkpoints along the National Highways where needed.
